So there you are, it’s Saturday afternoon, you’d rather be at the park kicking a football around but Dad’s getting married, so you ought to be there really, it would be rude not to.
One picture tells a whole story. The simplicity of a natural moment. There were over a hundred people spilling out of the church at Speldhurst in Kent; there were lots of congratulations and hugs and kisses. As the kids say, “it was all going on” but Little Guy on a Gravestone watched on quite calmly from his stony perch.
This is wedding photography for me. As well as directed, elegant portraiture, it’s natural moments like these.
